Following on from the enormous success of last year's first ever UK Jewish Business Awards, TrainE-TraidE are excited to be launching another year of recognising and celebrating the best businesses and individuals from within the Jewish Community. The nominations for this year's awards are open from the 17th December 2009 until the 31st January 2010 with the announcement of the award winners at our Business Lunch on 24th February 2010.

TrainE-TraidE's Jewish Business Awards are all about recognising enterprising members of the Jewish community across the whole spectrum of their business development. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to nominate someone who you believe has been really successful in his or her business in a wealth of different ways and at different levels. You could even nominate yourself -so why not 'go for it!'

How it Works

The Awards

TrainE-TraidE's Jewish Business Awards recognise the best businesses and individuals from within the Jewish Community or impacting upon the lives of Jewish people in the UK.

TrainE-TraidE's Jewish Business Awards are split into three different categories (for a full list of categories see below).

How do you enter?

If you believe that you, your business, or somebody you know deserves a TrainE-TraidE Jewish Business Award then please complete the below nomination form. Judges will look favourably upon nominations from the people who really matter to your business - your customers. Your business can be nominated in any, or all, of the three categories.

The nominations can be made in different ways:

- complete the entry form from the TrainE-TraidE Jewish Business Awards Website
- complete the entry form at the bottom of this page.

Nominations open on 17th December 2009 and close on 31st January 2010.

How are the awards judged?

The judging panel is made up of respected members of the Jewish business community who will meet after the closing date for entries to select a shortlist of possible award-winners. These shortlists will be announced two weeks before the awards ceremony.

The award winners will be announced at TrainE-TraidE's Business Lunch 2010 which will take place on February 24th 2010. Tickets for the event will be available nearer the date.

What do you win?

Winners of each category win a TrainE-TraidE Jewish Business Award Plaque presented at the Awards Ceremony. There will also be publicity and marketing opportunities from being short-listed and winning the award as well as the right to use 'Winner' and 'Shortlisted' logos on your own marketing materials. Coverage will be attained through our media partners the Jewish News.

Award Categories

Business of the Year

Awarded to an outstanding company whose growth, ambition and quality of management has enabled it deliver first-class results in the past 12 months.

New Business of the Year

Awarded to a new business that has been trading for less than 2 years and has already demonstrated the potential to be an outstanding success.

Young Business Person of the Year

New for 2010, this Award will go to an outstanding young individual (under 35) who can best demonstrate ambition, energy, skill and vision, as well as tangible business success. This award is open both to young entrepreneurs that are enjoying success in building their own business, and to those employees that have had an outstanding impact in contributing to the successes of a larger organisation.

About TrainE-TraidE

TrainE-TraidE's mission is to empower individuals within the Jewish community to maximise their earning potential by providing a range of business, training and employment services, through a personalised approach.

Based in Finchley, TrainE-TraidE provides a number of services that enables people to make informed career choices, improves access to vocational qualifications and the job market and increase the success rate and long term sustainability of new and existing businesses.

Terms & Conditions

Before making your nomination, please read the following Conditions of Entry.

1. The closing date for entries will be 31st January 2010. Nominations received after that date will not be considered by the judging panel under any circumstances.
2. Businesses may enter more than one award category although a separate entry form must be completed for each award.
3. Businesses entering the Awards must be able to show a link to the Jewish community or demonstrate how its work impacts upon the lives of Jewish people in the UK.
4. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Nominations will be treated in the strictest confidence and circulated only to members of the judging panel. All publicity about TrainE-TraidE's Jewish Business Awards will be co-ordinated through The PR Office on behalf of TrainE-TraidE.
6. Companies sponsoring awards are not eligible to enter.
7. Shortlisted entrants will be notified by post or telephone week commencing 8th February 2010.
