One Week To Go
Stag & Hen Party: Usually prepared by your best friends, though sometimes you wouldn't know! Just enjoy it.
Final Checklist: Call everyone - the band, the venue, the Rabbi, the caterer, etc., and make sure that everything is ready to go for next week.
Banns: Pick them up and send them off to the Rabbi.
Seating: Check that the Ushers know who has allocated seats in the synagogue.
The Clothes: Arrange to pick up all outfits for the Big Day. We would advise you to try them on before Sunday to ensure they fit. There is always time to shorten something, take it in or let it out!
The Mikvah: Before her wedding a Bride should go to the Mikvah to become purified, spiritually, before she is married. This normally takes place seven days after a woman's period has ended. If you are unclean the day before, or day of the wedding and are, therefore, unable to go to the Mikvah, don't worry - the wedding will still take place.
