Having reached the heights of the semi-finals last year, Israel's Davis Cup tennis side now face a fight to stay in the World Group after they were comprehensively defeated 4-1 in Chile.
Sela and Harel Levy lost the tie's opening two rubbers, before Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich kept the Israelis in the tie by winning the doubles match on Sunday. Ram said: "Chile is simply too good for us at home on the clay", it sucks to lose, but we now must turn our attention to remaining in the World Group."
However, Monday proved to be another disappointing tie as Sela lost once more -his fourth consecutive Davis Cup loss, before in a dead rubber, Levy fell to his second defeat.
Reflecting on the tie and more importantly, the future, captain Eyal Ran said: "It is important we take the good things from this tie. The matches were tight and the players gave their best.
"This tie will help us when we next play on clay. We will do everything we can to remain in the World Group and we are hoping for a home draw because we miss our fans."
