Hampstead Women in 6-1 Win

An almost flawless first half performance from Hampstead Womens FC first XI saw them romp to a 6-1 North London derby win against Alexandra Palace.

A 20-minute spell brought about five HWFC goals and subjected Alexandra Palace to one of their most humiliating defeats of the season.

Hampstead soon got into their groove and having sqaundered several chances, went in front when Kate Freeman latched onto Lucy Rebuck’s perfectly waited pass to slot the ball home.

Freeman played provider as Rebuck doubled the lead, the 15-year old’s third goal in two games before the two combined again, with the former making it three.

Maxine Chastanet made it four with a long-range free-kick before she claimed her second of the morning after the keeper spilled Rebuck’s shot.

Freeman capped off a superb half as she claimed her hat-trick and made it five though it was left until the closing moments of the match when Dani Benjamin fired in from six yards out.
