Stolen Auschwitz Sign Found
The infamous sign at Auschwitz
The Auschwitz sign "Arbeit Macht Frei", which had been stolen from the entrance of the former concentration camp, has been found.
Five men were arrested in connection with the theft on Sunday after the sign, which means "Work Sets You Free", was found cut into three pieces and hidden in the woods near the home of one of the men. The sign was unscrewed and pulled off from the gate before dawn on Friday.
