Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli has been criticised by the IDF for evading her military duties.
IDF human resources chief Maj. Gen. Avi Zamir called on consumers to boycott brands that Refaeli promotes, including local clothing chain Fox.

Zamir said: "At the end of the day she is the one who has to look at herself in the mirror. We are a society that has an army, and Bar Refaeli doesn't have to participate in ads for Fox [clothing] - and if she advertises Fox then you shouldn't buy their products...After all, I can't take on Bar Refaeli, but you can."
The 24-year-old's mother responded that Zamir's remarks were "ridiculous and shameful".
Refaeli, who is reportedly back together with her Hollywood beau Leonardo DiCaprio, also provoked anger in Israel for requesting to be listed as a foreign resident in order to pay less tax.
