Celebs Promote Israel Tourism
This year’s World Travel Market played host to celebrities galore in London on Tuesday.
Opening the Israeli stand were Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend, supermodel Bar Rafaeli, and Hammasa Kohistani, who became the first Muslim Miss UK in 2005. The Israeli Travel Minister Isaac Herzog urged everyone to visit the Holy Land.

All three of the stars present had their own vision as to why Israel was so special.
Rafaeli said: “It’s the most incredible country in the world. It combines everything you can possibly imagine – ancient and modern, desert and sea, nightlife… It has everything.” Koshistani agreed: “Israel has a lot to offer. It is a beautiful country representing many cultures. Why shouldn’t it be visited?”
And Herzog enthused: “Israel is a very different place to the one that is portrayed by the media. It has the most fascinating sights on earth, and is a cradle of three monotheistic religions. We can’t wait to show that Israeli tourism potential is back on track."
