Seniors - Away to Highgate & Muswell Hill (MSFL Division 4): Won 2-5
With Manager Alan Kleinman away and with assistant boss Vivian Emanuel taking the reins, he chose to field an unusual 3-4-1-2 formation as opposed to the blues usual 4-4-2.

The game started well with the blues taking the lead midway through the first half from Adam Jason on his return from university, scoring after being set up by Jon Kay.

HMH hit a reply through Danny Fuerer from a header but with the half time whistle looming, Jason again set up by Kay gave Pinner a 2-1 lead at the break.

The second period was a half full of great Sunday league football.

Both keepers made superb saves to keep their teams in the game. However, Pinner remained in control and took a 3-1 lead with another Jason strike to claim his hat-trick with a fine finish.

HMH responded again and pulled the score back to 3-2 with a good finish.

But the blues were determined and never looked back and claimed another with ten minutes remaining from Dean Shaw after a Rory Delap style throw from Ollie Kay.

Jason wasn’t finished though and had the last word as he finished the scoring with a great touch to bag his fourth goal of the game.

Under 18s - Away to Berkhamsted Raiders White (WFL Purple Division): Lost 5-1.
Albeit with five regular players missing, the blues were well matched but where the Raiders converted their chances.

At a goal down, Pinner had a great chance to level but for the Raiders keeper who made an excellent save. The game was played in a very good sporting spirit by both teams with only a handful of minor fouls.

The blues played lots of great football in the midfield but could just not score until the last few minutes. Matt Lubel was brought down in the area and Ollie Sanker converted from the spot.

Under 15s - Home to Panathinaikos Youth White (WFL Yellow Division): Lost 0-2.

On a bobbly pitch, the blues found themselves behind after fifteen minutes to a well taken Panathinaikos cross and resulting shot from the left hand side of the area.

Having then bolstered the midfield, the blues came back into the game but failed to capitalise and conceded for a second time from a break on the left flank with a shot from an acute angle.

Pinner tried hard but their play was disjointed and few chances were created.

James Smyth gave the opposition defence a good run but in fairness the result was rightly deserved in a keenly contested match played in a good spirit.

Under 13s - Away to Enfield Rangers (WFL Spring Trophy Group B): Lost 3-1.
This was a sure fired spirited performance from the blues against a team who have already claimed the spoils twice this season.

Rangers started the better and went one nil up early in the game. The blues took time to find a rhythm and twenty minutes in the game were piling on the pressure with Jordan Aspis hitting the crossbar.

Pinner earned the deserved equaliser when a good move involving Aspis and Ben Chilton resulted in Jake Colton finishing at the far post.

The blues were now on top and should have been awarded a penalty when Aspis was blatantly brought down but to avail and were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the area.

Josh Burchhardt then hit the post and as Pinner tired and with no spare manpower on the bench available, Rangers scored two break away goals.

Under 12s - Away to Edson Youth (WFL Spring Trophy Group D): Won 3-4.
In a hard fought game against third in the table, the blues demonstrated an excellent performance with Maxim Green claiming the blues first goal.

In the second period, Pinner soon found themselves behind. But with a resilient fight-back, Ben Graham grabbed the equaliser and with a Jeremy Ben Nathan sweet strike from just outside the penalty area, they took the lead.

The blues then scored a fourth following an amazing run by Jacob Taylor on the right wing and from a pinpoint cross, Graham scored his second.

Pinner defended resolutely for the final ten minutes only allowing Edson a consolation goal.

Manager Gary Appleby said ‘this was a fantastic performance all round’.

Man-of-the-Match was awarded to Jacob Taylor for a superb game at right-back.

Under 9s - Home to Pinnacle (WFL Yellow Group):Lost 0-9.
The blues were playing one of the strongest teams in the league and put up a stout defence showing great spirit.

But despite some inspired goalkeeping from Harry Weintroub who made some superb saves, Pinnacle found a way round the blues defence.

Man-of-the-Match was awarded to Max Alexander for a focused effort and high level of play throughout.

Under 8s - Home to Everett Rovers Black (WFL Rory Tiger Group):
On a perfect pitch, the blues faced an extremely good side in a gritty but well contested game.

All of the boys played well and put in 100% with both teams having quite a few chances.

This was the blues sternest test yet from an ever progressing team.
