Glenthorne moved back to the top of division one thanks to a thrilling win over South Mancunians, while Division Two champions Lions B were also winners.

Division One
Glenthorne A moved back to the top of the table with a 4-3 win over South Mancunians, despite goals from Mancs’ Kevin Lotzof (2) and Ashley Davidson.

EDRS bounced back from their defeat in Tuesday evening’s Cup Final to beat Brady B thanks to goals from Paul Chilton (2), Mark Kingston and Jacob Namer.

And Lions A beat Faithfold A 4-2, with two goals apiece from Bradley Lazarus and Tony Gold. Joel Nathan and Dean Schulberg notched Faithfold’s replies.


Division Two
Brady C beat Ashlodge 3-1 with goals from Dean Poster, Andy Gilbert and an own goal.

Clayhall A moved up into third with a 4-3 victory over neighbours Glenthorne B, thanks to goals from David Michaels, Brian Deal (2) and Steve Langham.

Newly crowned Division 2 champions Lions B triumphed over Temple Fortune by a solitary Paul Wise goal.

But Temple Fortune secured the points in their second match of the day, beating Faithfold B 4-0 through Robert Botkai (2), Steve Feiger and Allon Schick-Maier.

But result of the day belongs to Pel City who, in their 17th and penultimate league match of the season finally notched up their first win, a 5-1 victory over Faithfold B. Pel’s scorers were Andrew Cohen, Eddie Saleh (2), Matt Kemp and Andrew Rose.
