Maccabi Masters Cup
The big shock of the day was the defeat of reigning Cup holders and division one leaders, Glenthorne A, at the hands of second division EDRS.

The underdogs had taken an early lead with a goal from Jacob Namer, but Glenthorne’s Richard Goldstein scored twice and looked to be heading for the last four. However, Namer’s last minute header brought the scores level, and EDRS won through 5-4 on penalties.

North London Raiders join them in the semi-final draw after two goals from Ashley Davidson, and a strike from Jonny Summerfield helped them to a 3-1 win over Clayhall, for whom Brian Deal scored a consolation.

Also into the semis are Brady A, who defeated South Mancunians 4-0 thanks to goals from Dan Forman, Marc Herman, Perry Yam and an own goal.

Division Two
Lions B and Ashlodge drew 2-2. Laurence Swerner and Howard Freeman scored for Lions; Meir Velenski and Jon Seigal scored for Ashlodge.

Norstar completed a comfortable double over Temple Fortune with a 3-0 win courtesy of goals from David Jackson, David Coburn and Richard Fox.
