An evening of celebration, league winners, runners-up and cup winners from all the age division were presented with their trophies, while two special long service awards – as founding members of the league since 1988 – to Brian Yershon and Geoffrey Levene.

Reflecting back on the season, chairman Laurence Thorne said: “On the whole, the season went particularly well and the introduction of our new small-sided 7-a-side league, was a huge success for the U8, U9 and U10 age groups. Next season the consensus of opinion is to continue with the same small-sided age groups, but to integrate this season's U10s and keep them at 7-a-side for next season's Under 11.

"As we plan towards next season, if there are any teams wishing to enter the league in any age groups ranging from U8-U17, or there are any individual players looking to join a team, please email me at primarynationalfootball@yahoo.com."
