Hendon Hawks B under 10's continued their good league form with a deserved 4-3 win over Brady Maccabi.

The Hawks started the game the brighter with captain Josh Resnick leading by example with strong strides into the Brady half.

Brady responded to the Hawks pressure by testing the Hawks goalkeeper with a few low shots, easily grasped by Eli Meyer, the Hawks keeper. It was Hendon Hawks who broke the deadlock in this open league tie, as Resnick swooped down the right hand side, picking out Yosef Zeidman at the back post to poach the loose ball into the back of the net.

Resnick's prolific form shone through with a superb run, beating two defenders and slotting the ball past the Brady keeper in the bottom right hand corner.

Brady responded almost immediately with a looping ball beating the Hawks defence, for the Brady striker to run onto, striking the ball into the left hand corner. Resnick was able to increase his tally before the end of the half after Joel Vecht played a long ball for Resnick to run on to. Resnick then nestled the ball in the back of the net for the Hawks third.

The second half began with Brady Maccabi dominating the first few minutes. The Brady pressure paid off with a goal soon after the restart. However, Josh Resnick continued his fine goal scoring form with a hat-trick after dribbling down the right side, slotting the ball in between the keeper and the near post for his 31st goal of the season.

Brady responded near the end of the game with a superb strike from distance, lobbing Eli Meyer who only a few minutes before hand pulled off one of the saves of the season.

With this win Hendon Hawks B continue their pursuit of the top four.
