Scrabble U15s, managed by Steve Koffman faced a very tough Hendon Interschools side at the Abrahams Stadium for the Woodys Under 15's Cup Final.

Having already clinched the League Championship a victory would have meant the club winning the double.

Scrabble started poorly and Hendon Interschools were quicker off the blocks and took an early lead. Scrabble, unbeaten all season were rocking and Hendon were playing exceptionally well. Scrabble eventually started to get into their stride and Josh Moss scored a super equaliser. Scrabble then started to push Hendon back and
a fine pass from Jordan Lewis was finished off by Josh Moss for Scrabble's second.

In the second half Scrabble took the initiative and started playing some lovely football. They were rewarded for their efforts when captain Jordan Lewis scored the third goal.

On a sweltering afternoon, Scrabble started to create more chances as the game became stretched, with Hendon pushing forward in search of a goal. Another Jordan Lewis strike made it 4-1 to Scrabble.

Scrabble keeper Callum Whitehead made the save of the game when he turned a powerful goal-bound Hendon effort round the post. In the dying seconds Hendon were awarded a penalty but the resultant spot kick flew over the Abrahams Stadium into Summers Lane.

At the final whistle there was much jubilation in the Scrabble camp as they won the Woodys Cup and also clinched a famous double, emulating the Scrabble side of 2003 that also achieved the same feat.

Hendon played their part in a memorable game but it was Jordan Lewis and Scrabble that climbed the steps to lift the Cup.
