A sunny afternoon in Borehamwood, a beautiful peach and the strong team set the scene for a wonderful afternoon.

After a shaky start which saw a defensive lapse and soft early goal conceded, Brady Reds started to pass the ball with the confidence that belied our league position (always looking for a positive, we are the strongest team in the league, we are holding everyone else up) Adler, Gelb and Pinhass passed the ball through midfield beautifully and even though HIS stuck with a three-man defence, we continued to pressure the goal and after many chances the goal finally came, a superb corner from Gelb was volleyed into the roof of the net by the Matthew Anelka Pinhass.

The game remained level for twenty minutes resolute defending from big and little Jacob and some great saves from Benjy and some loose finishing by Arshavin Adler and Van Persie Leader looked like the game was heading for a draw. Then a huge goalkick from Benjy and great interplay from Gelb and Adler which fell to Pinhass and he crashed the ball passed the keeper in the dying seconds for a huge win.

With the morale high, Brady's confidence grew and the passing got better and better. Benjy peppered the HIS defence with huge goalkicks, with great conviction Pinhass broke past the defence and had his shot saved, Adler followed up and another save. Then just after the break Pinhass again beat the defence an excellent shot was saved and Arshavin Adler was following up and buried the rebound.

Attack after attack, corner after corner Brady kept the pressure on and another Benjy goalkick, a flick by Van Persie Leader took him past the defender a great shot was parried and Pinhass followed in for a 2-0 lead. With just seconds remaining another lapse in concentration cost our clean sheet. All in all two brilliant performances, great passing and Men of the Match were Pinhass and Gelb.

We are home on the 19th probably a 1:45 kick off, let me know if you are available.
